| Project | Conversion of industrial unit into four retail units |
| Location | Tunbridge Well, Kent |
| Value | £2.75 million |
| Programme | 20 weeks |
This fast-track project was secured via competitive tender and involved the conversion of an existing warehouse into four retail units in time for Christmas opening. Pexhurst was tasked with completely remodelling the development, on behalf of the client, from bare shell to an attractive retail proposition.
Converting the warehouse into four retail units, Pexhurst installed a new access corridor at the rear of the premises, including piling, groundworks and steelwork and the installation of new utility services throughout.
The entire premises was re-roofed and clad to create an attractive retail space with four new shop fronts designed and installed to the front elevation with retail signs. Finally, the pedestrian and car park area was remodelled to provide easy access to the units.
Pexhurst liaised with both the landlord and new tenants to ensure that the completed
works met their requirements and that the units were open for Christmas.
